Readcrumbs is a reading and writing companion that helps you capture, revisit, and act on what you read. It combines notes, recaps, quizzes, a Scratchpad, and an interactive chatbot so you can remember more and create better outputs.

Two groups:

• Readers: Track reading, highlight passages, take notes, generate recaps, practice with quizzes, chat with your documents, and turn documents into typing practice.
• Authors: Share documents and get feedback, analytics, and insights from reader engagement.

Not yet. At signup, choose reader or author. We plan to support combined roles later.

Your personal workspace for organizing the most important outputs from AI systems or your own notes. Scratchpad items can span any topic and can be turned into separate documents on demand.

Recaps summarize what you read from bookmark to bookmark, so you can recall exactly what you covered between two points.

Yes. You can generate quizzes from your documents and use an interactive chatbot to explore and question your content conversationally.

Yes. Any imported document can be turned into a typing test for practice—you can read and listen while you type.

Yes. Adjust font size, font style, and background colors.

Yes. Author documents include copy/paste prevention to protect content. (Note: no copy-protection is perfect; we deter casual copying.)

• Readers: Sign up with Google.
• Authors: Sign up with email + password. Authors must verify their email before logging in.

Your notes, recaps, Scratchpad items, quizzes, and account data are scheduled for deletion immediately and are permanently removed after 30 days.

Yes. As a free user you can use the core features and earn tokens through engagement to power AI-backed actions (e.g., recaps, chat). Recaps require tokens; free users get them when they have enough tokens accrued via gamification. Imported documents may be truncated for free users.

• Premium Readers: More monthly tokens and the ability to resync documents.
• Premium Authors: Upload more documents and access analytics/insights. You can also chunk your documents into sections and have readers unlock them via your chosen interaction (e.g., a feedback form or sharing notes/quotes), with an optional link to buy the full document (preview mode).

Recaps are generated asynchronously in the background. You’ll get a notification when they’re ready.

If you’re new, you’ll see onboarding guidance until readers engage with your content.
